Load Brass into Plastic Molding Machine, inspect molded fittings for defects to include but not limited to, grease, burns, flash, or anything unusual. Package fittings in accordance with posted guidelines.

Responsible for finished product inspection, to include quality, quantity, physical appearance, and packaged parts.

Trims parts using a pneumatic cutter and/or knife, inspects each part for defects in appearance. Also inspects each part for physical problems. Reports any problems immediately to a supervisor.

Sorts and bag parts in the prescribed manner as per company policies.

Runs and loads an injection molding machine with brass inserts and inspects the parts for grease, burns, flash or anything unusual.

Package brass fittings in accordance with company requirements.

Ensures all safety rules are adhered to at all times.

Keeps work station clean and orderly at all times.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsible for adhering to all company EHS regulations. Required to maintain EHS trainings in accordance with OSHA and Johnson Controls standards.

High school diploma or equivalent, General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply practical understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
