We are looking for a Facilities Technician 2 in our Redmond, WA location.
This is a 2nd shift role and the schedule is 5 days per week, 9 hours per day (with every other Friday off). During training, your schedule will be Monday through Friday day shift, with every other Friday off. After training (usually about two months), your schedule will be Monday through Friday 2nd shift, with every other Friday off.
This position may be filled at this level or one level higher.

80% - Troubleshooting, maintenance, moving and repair of various machinery and shop equipment including but not limited to CNC lathes, mills, grinders, presses, curing ovens, coating equipment, automatic welders, and hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment; general building and grounds maintenance; installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems and equipment; carpentry; report issues and out of control conditions to supervision/management; evaluate, prioritize and complete requests for repair.
10% - Basic to moderately complex data collection, report and provide feedback to supervision; conduct inspections; make recommendations to supervision; perform modifications to work areas.
10% - Clean work area; maintain records as required. Assist in other areas of the facility as required.
Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid Washington State Driver's License and at least three (3) years of related work experience.
Must be able to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Working knowledge Microsoft Office products especially Outlook, Word and Excel needed.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Monitoring Systems desired.
Candidates must be willing and available to work overtime and be on-call as needed for facilities related emergency situations (i.e.: adverse weather, etc.).
Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel materials. The employee is regularly expected to stand, walk, sit, climb, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel and work in high or precarious places. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception. Employee will need to work near moving mechanical parts and in moderately noisy working conditions on occasion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, chemicals or airborne particles.
