We are seeking a Configuration Management Sr Analyst to join our Canoga Park, CA location.

Essential Functions

Under general direction, performs assignments requiring application of Industry standard Configuration Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.

30% - Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design, Product Definition and Operations data including verifications and management of Class I and Class II engineering changes for and accuracy including: configuration identification, bill-of-materials, relationships and affected documents.

30% - Perform Data Management Activities by supporting programs with contract data deliverables to external customers, as well as supporting management of data with suppliers.

25% - Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.

15% - Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices, principles, policies and procedures.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 5 years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience).

Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management practices and principles and knowledge of ISO10007 and EIA649 required.
  • Knowledge of PTC Windchill a plus.
  • CMII or CMPIC certification desired.
  • Knowledge of design, development and manufacture of mechanical and electrical systems desired.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

Pay range for this position:
69,500 - 102,166 per year
