POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
COMPENSATION: $110,000-$140,000K DOE
STATUS: Regular-Full Time/ Exempt
The Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for all external and internal communications for The Salvation Army Northwest Division and its Corps/Service Units. All efforts are geared toward fundraising and increased awareness of the organization. The position develops marketing and communication fundraising strategies and manages marketing and communications campaigns for direct and in-direct fundraising efforts. This includes but is not limited to, direct marketing, advertising, public relations, and media relations. This position must collaborate with colleagues, agencies, digital assets, and media partners to achieve its goals. This position organizes marketing and communications efforts through, but not limited to, direct marketing, advertising, public relations, collaborations with colleagues and agencies, and media partners. A successful Marketing and Communications Director will develop a robust knowledge and understanding of the organization's history and its mission to help further its presence in the community. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is creative, personable, and enthusiastic for non-profit work.
The Marketing and Communications Director reports to the Director of Development.

Life and Voluntary Options. An employer-paid life insurance policy covers employees. Voluntary supplemental life, short-term and long-term disability plans are available.
Retirement Plans: Employer-funded Money Purchase Pension Plan (Defined Contribution Plan) 50% vested at five years eligible service time. Plus, an employee-funded voluntary 403(b) option.
Parental Leave: The benefit is 40 hours of Paid Leave for qualifying events.
Sick Leave: 12 days of Sick Leave annually accruing from day one, eligible for use after three months' service time.
