Overview: The logistics supervisor is responsible for supporting the oversight and execution of logistics, inventory, and transportation operations within their assigned sites in order to support the residential and commercial installation teams in execution of projects. This role oversees a team of CDL Drivers and Shipping/Receiving Associates to carry out the timely delivery of stone product from our manufacturing facilities to the customer job site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own operational oversight of all product delivery to job sites including drivers, external shipping vendors, and inventory tracking
  • Leads a team of drivers and shipping/receiving associates as applicable, driving accountability for OTIF numbers, safety, compliance, and other relevant KPIs
  • Drive the execution of change in processes and practices to improve our efficiency and quality, as well as inventory tracking and management
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to directives in support of overallregional goals and strategy
  • Uphold a strong customer focus with the teamsand demonstrate cross-functional leadership with plant warehouses, installation leaders, and their teams
  • Demonstrate our core values and success behaviors in theirapproach to work and leadership, with particular emphasis on integrity and safety
  • Support company projects and change initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, supply chain management or similar, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3years of experience in logistics
  • Experience leading teams or projects
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Understands business language and acumen
  • Experience in the new construction/remodel, manufacturing industry preferred
  • Experience with hub and spoke models a plus
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to motivate a team to reach KPIs
  • Team Leadership
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to pick up new computer systems andsoftware programsquickly
  • Data analysis and reporting fundamentals
