What do our Senior HRIS Analysts do?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop advanced reporting, HR scorecards and dashboards, BIRT, and other reports to support HR and Field Analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within HRIS by auditing data and providing solutions to maintain high reporting standards and data cleanliness.
  • Ensure relevant teammate data governance policies and procedures are maintained per regulatory and company requirements.
  • Conduct periodic data audits to ensure data and processes are setup correctly and efficiently.
  • Partner with Legal, HRIS and HRIT on implementation of data privacy changes to key data processes.
  • Provide support on HR data issues with integration failures.
  • Provide analysis of reporting impacts based on new releases or updates to system functionality and recommend/apply changes.
  • Support existing report issues.
  • Create custom calculated fields to support advanced reporting and business process needs.
  • Develop (employee) data governance and standards procedures to support distributed report writers and dispersed global data.
  • Provides comprehensive analysis of employee information provided by the HRIS.
  • Generates retrieval of statistical summary reports from information systems.
  • Prepares reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for use by management.
  • Serves as liaison with information systems staff in resolving programming and related problems.
  • Recommends new equipment or software in support of objectives.
  • May coach lower level HRIS staff.
  • Business analysis, project management, and document functional specifications. Runs ad-hoc queries, system configuration, and acts as a liaison between HR groups and IT.

Requirements: Must have bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related and 3 years of HRIS experience, including:

  • Translating business requirements and user needs into operational requirements
  • Collecting, organizing, analyzing and disseminating significant amounts of highly confidential data
  • Building algorithms to analyze big data and provide insights for recruitments and retention strategies, performance, and employee engagement
  • Creating dashboards and reports for interactive data visualizations to help stakeholders understand HR data
  • Organizing and converting Data related problems into Mathematical representation and using appropriate methodology for data analysis based on the data sets using Python, R, SQL Languages
  • Developing and implementing data security and privacy policies to protect HR Data
  • Advanced data processing, SQL query/report generation, and advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, Visio, Word)
